On Saturday October 18, 2003, over 30 scouts and parents from Troop 202 built eight water bars on the Ireland Trail in Joaquin Miller Park. We had to transport the railroad ties up to their locations, dig trenches to place the ties in, and backfill sirt over the ties. Over 170 hours were put in to complete the project.
