J. T. SLAMA'S EAGLE PROJECT
May 10, 2008 |
On May 17th, scouts and adults of Troop 202 successfully built 75 feet of turnpike on the Bridgeview Trail in Dimond Canyon Park. The project consisted of clearing existing debris, entrenching more than 150 feet of logs, and filling the space between them with crushed rock and gravel. New channels were dug for additional drainage, and large rocks were placed to further lock the raised trail in place.
