On November 13 and 20, 2004, Troop 202 teamed up with Pack 202 to hand out bags and pick up food donations from the Rockridge area of Oakland. Bags were distributed by the Troop and Pack on November 13th. Food was collected on November 20th and brought to the teacher's parking lot at Montclair School in Oakland. There the food was sorted by container, counted, and placed in bins, which were picked up and delivered to the Alameda County Food Bank. This community service activity was part of the Boy Scout's annual food drive. Thanks to the generosity of the community and the hard work of the Scouts, we were able to collect over 1550 items of food this year. Below are some pictures from the drive.
