Summer Camp

Every summer, Troop 202 attends a week long summer camp, usually at Camp Oljato in the Sierras. Scouts enjoy a wealth of land and water activities, lots of advancement opportunities, and tons of fun!

High Adventure

High adventure is a two-week challenging experience for scouts 14 years and older. Every other year we go to Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico, and in alternating years we go to places such as the Grand Tetons, Colorado's Lizard Head Wildnerness, and rafting Utah's San Juan River.

Courts of Honor

Active scouts earn lots of accomplishments. Troop 202 holds three Courts of Honor a year to recognize rank advancement a troop leadership. In December we hold an Eagle Court of Honor to award Scouting's highest rank to our new Eagles.

Service Projects

Troop 202 prides itself on taking an active role in the community. We participate in a number of service projects such as Scouting for Food, trail restoration, bridge building, erosion control in local parks, and volunteer work at the Alameda County Food Bank.
